Cullenagh Upper held two tall uprights beside each other, but eager men pulled the second one from the earth during 1950s land reclamation. The first may still stand hidden near the known marker, waiting for someone patient enough to look beside the road rather than above it. Forgetting is not the same as losing when memory keeps the shape of what was taken.

Not marked on the OS maps, this possible standing stone was situated about 150m SSW of KE065-073----. An equally tall upright, it was also removed during land reclamation operations in the 1950s (local information). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
