Hut site in Culleens is a hut site in Culleens, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a square area measuring 4m on each side, abutting the east side of a low northwestern-southeastern bank that divides the rath interior into approximately equal portions. The north and south boundaries consist of faint remains of a low bank or wall, while the central dividing bank measures 1.3m wide and 0.2m high.
In a rath (SL017-032001-). The interior of the rath is divided into approximately equal portions by a low NW-SE bank (Wth 1.3m; H 0.2m) which extends through the centre. Abutting the E side of this bank is a square area (dim. 4m) whose N and S sides are defined by ephemeral remains of a low bank or wall, possibly the remains of a hut site. Compiled by: Patrick F.
