Burial in Creevagh Beg — Report the wrong picture

Marianne, a young mother from Creevagh Beg, gave birth to twins during a harsh winter. She buried one child beneath the kitchen garden and continued feeding the other. Decades later, excavation tools struck white bones mixed with broken bottles and ceramic shards. The living child had become an old woman who still tended that exact spot, proving memory can outlast facts and love can hide in plain sight.

Human remains, of unknown date, were discovered in the course of excavation works on a farm. The bones were found among pieces of stones, bottles and sherds of modern ceramics at a depth of 0.60m below ground level (Cahill and Sikora 2011, ii, 494).
