What is recorded here
Walled garden, extant 1838, on a chamfered square plan with boundary wall to perimeter having overgrown coping. Now disused. Set in unkempt grounds shared with Creagh House.
A walled garden not only contributing positively to the group and setting values of the much diminished Creagh House estate, but also surviving as an interesting relic of the 'nicely laid out cottage residence' annotated as "Creagh [of] Cuff Esquire" by Taylor and Skinner (1778 pl. 213).
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
