What is recorded here

No fort remains in Corraffrin. The survey named an absent ring on open pasture beside bogland, but the land has taken back its shape. What is left is a vacancy marked on paper, a circle of memory with no stone to hold it.

There is no trace of the 'Fort' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. It was situated on rough level pasture on the edge of bogland with extensive views.
