What is recorded here

A scatter (L 10m; Wth 1.5m; D 0.07m) of sawn birch roundwoods and brushwood (diam. 0.055-0.07m). All branches have been trimmed and there are several forked pieces with saw marks at the stem end. Bark is intact and the wood is in fresh condition. This dump of wood may be modern. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD. Date of upload: 24 August 2010
