What is recorded here

Cornamucklagh held a sub-rectangular platform on the upper east slopes of Anglesey Mt, large enough for a fort yet elusive enough to vanish before a 1966 search. The earthwork may have served as a watchtower, a boundary marker or a forgotten home, shaping the hillside long before surveys named it. Its disappearance is not a failure of recording but a reminder that some places resist being kept.

On upper E slopes of Anglesey Mt. Shown as sub-rectangular platform (c. 26m NE-SW, c. 24m NW-SE) on OS 25-inch plan (surveyed 1907).
