What is recorded here

A compact horizontal band (Wth 0.8m; T 0.08m) of uniform small brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.045m) was evident in both section faces; possibly a hurdle. The remains extended roughly at right angles to the line of the drain. Approximately twenty pieces were visible and there was no visible evidence of woodworking. The evidence suggested that was likely to have been the remains of a platform.
