What is recorded here

Drishane Island is a tiny islet one hundred metres offshore from Tragumna beach in County Cork, Ireland. The shallow water beside it has been recognised as a clean Blue Flag beach, while the nearby coast has also drawn dangerous attention during modern drug smuggling investigations. People may have swum toward the island for joy or crossed that same distance for concealment, giving the small rock both innocence and shadow.
Part of Bawnlahan townland and therefore part of Castlehaven Parish.
