What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1840, now in use as retail outlet. Flat roof with rendered parapet. Rendered walls. Replacement uPVC casement windows to upper floors. Enlarged windows and pair of replacement timber doors to ground floor.
This house forms part of a notable terrace with the adjoining houses to the east and west. However many of these buildings have been demolished, the facades retained, and are now incorporating into the apartment development to the rear. The scale and form of these houses contribute to the streetscape. Though interesting features and materials have been replaced, these houses are representative of the quayside development in this area during the first half of the nineteenth century.
