Detached three-bay single-storey former gate lodge, built c.1890, with flat-roofed extension to east. Now in private domestic use. Hipped slate roof with central rendered corbelled chimneystack having recessed panels and clay pots. Cast-iron rainwater goods on painted timber projecting eaves on plain brick modillions. Flemish bonded brick walls with full-height pilasters to west elevation, yellow brick platband and smooth-rendered plinth. Segmental-headed window openings with polychrome brick to heads, stone sills and square-headed timber casement windows. Replacement uPVC window to south elevation. Segmental-headed door opening with polychrome brick to arch, dressed stone step and recessed replacement uPVC door set in timber surround. Gate lodge situated inside boundary wall, adjacent to entrance gates and associated with main house, located to the south.

Located to the north of the main house, this former gate lodge retains much of its original character. The use of simple polychrome brick detailing mirrors the embellishment of the main house. The pilasters arrangement creates an impressive entrance front. It forms a handsome group with the main house and entrance to the north-west.
