What is recorded here
Fairy fort in Coolrake, County Kildare: a 25m circular earthwork with external fosse and northeast entrance on a pasture ridge. People may have lived there, or excluded others from that much space. Either way the ridge still marks the boundary between ordinary field and remembered residence.
Circular area (diam. 25m) surrounded by an earthen bank and external fosse. Entrance at the NE. A low bank outside the fosse is possibly modified or relatively modern. Situated on a ridge in pasture land.
