Early 19th century house. Two-storey entrance front (S) of 2 bays; round-headed doorway. E and W elevations 3-bay, 2-storey over basement. Roof hipped with central valley. Date stone inscribed 'M. Knowles M.S. 1817' on entrance front. Farm buildings enclosing courtyard to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
