Early 19th century house. Two-storey entrance front (S) of 2 bays; round-headed doorway. E and W elevations 3-bay, 2-storey over basement. Roof hipped with central valley. Date stone inscribed 'M. Knowles M.S. 1817' on entrance front. Farm buildings enclosing courtyard to E.
