What is recorded here

Under Cave Park in Coole, a man-made passage dips below the grass, local memory calling it a cave rather than a natural hollow. People may have cut it for storage, worship or escape, then buried the entrance until children ran past it in ordinary fields. The stone work still resists forgetting, waiting for someone to dig away the soil and ask what the darkness was built to hold.
