A burnt mound, a wood-lined trough and a hearth were excavated here in 2006 in advance of the construction of the landfill (Excavation Licence 06E0552 (areas 9 and 10)). A radiocarbon date of 1890–1690 BC was obtained from the site. (Frazer 2009, 571)
