Christ Church

Church built in 1881 on site of old edifice which was built in 1774, new church called Christ Church, designed by W.H. Hill. (Grove White 1905 - 25, vol 2, 147) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). Christ Church in Conva was built in 1881, designed by W.H. Hill, replacing an earlier church on the site from 1774. It is dedicated to Christ and represents 19th-century ecclesiastical architecture in the area.
