Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Coggaltonroe, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the summit of a NE-SW ridge as a circular grass-covered area about forty metres across. An earthen bank, now incorporated into a field boundary, defines most of the circle while traces of two fosses separated by a berm remain at the west and north. A pond sits outside the bank to the north-northeast and a drain runs outside to the east, but no original entrance is visible.

On the summit of a NE-SW ridge. Described as a subcircular area (dims 42m E-W; 37m N-S) defined by two earthen banks separated by a flat-bottomed fosse, with traces of a second outer fosse and an entrance (Wth 2.5m) at E (Gannon 1972). It is visible now a circular grass-covered area (diam. 40m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by an earthen bank incorporated into a field bank (Wth 2.4-3.5m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.6-1.8m) and hedge N-E-S, and by traces of two fosses (at W: Wth 3m) separated by a berm (at W: Wth 4m) S-W-N.
