Indicated is a vanished fairy fort on a low ridge in County Longford, drawn on maps but erased from the ground. It may have been a human home, a boundary marker or a child story made flesh. The soil has taken back its shape, leaving only the name to point at what is no longer visible.
On the SE slope of a low ridge. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1837 and 1883 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. The monument is not visible at ground level.
