Cast-iron post box, c.1885, with V.R. insignia and crown, set in random limestone wall at Dromod Railway station.
This Victorian cast-iron post box forms an attractive addition to the furniture of the railway station complex in Dromod. It remains in use as an important feature in the social and urban fabric of the town. At the base of the post-box is inscribes 'W.T. ALLEN & CO. London', the makers of the box.
