Half-hidden beneath bracken and old thorns, the church has surrendered almost everything but a small rectangular shadow on the west and a faint eastern wall. It stands on a slight rise above marshy flats, close enough to the castle for its prayers and fears to have crossed the river. Whatever was built there has been returned to the earth, leaving only a shape the land still remembers.

All that remains of this church is an overgrown rock outcrop with no definite evidence of wall footings or worked\cut stone. Described in 1942 as 'on a slight rise above marshy flats by river near castle (OF009-019001-). There are old thorns on the site, and banks mark wall foundations. On W seems a small rect. room c. 4 yds. square and perhaps extension of wall to E. Unenclosed' (ITA Survey 1942).
