Doonore South holds a forgotten children's burial ground at the head of Gleann na nGealt, though local memory has erased it and doubt remains whether it ever existed. That absence is striking because burial grounds usually resist forgetting. The place may have been a small cluster of markers, a shallow ditch or a misread field edge, yet the claim still points to childhood loss in a remote valley.

The calluragh burial ground recorded by the Co. Kerry Field Club (1946, 670), at the head of Gleann na nGealt, is not remembered locally and there is some doubt as to whether it ever existed.
