What is recorded here
Children died young in Cloondahamper and were buried beside the boreen between Blake and Brown fields. Flood water and ploughs have erased the marks, but local memory still points to that eastern edge. The land takes back what it can, yet the names of the townlands keep the children close.
In rough farmland liable to flooding. According to local information, there was a children's burial ground to the E of a boreen between the townlands of Cloondahamper (Blake) and Cloondahamper (Brown). Not located.
