Gallaun is a 3.4m standing stone beside Castlequin House in County Kerry, Ireland, overlooking the Ferta river. Its pear-shaped base measures 1.22m by .64m and tapers slightly upward. People may have placed it there to mark a boundary, honour an ancestor or simply watch the water move.
