Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowreagh (boyle By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the south edge of a broad low rise as a circular grass-covered area measuring 46.5 metres north-south and 45 metres east-west. A gapped earthen bank with bushes and an outer fosse define most of the perimeter, while a two-metre entrance opens to the east. Rath (RO011-094----) lies approximately 180 metres to the north-northwest.
At the S edge of a broad low rise. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 46.5m N-S; 45m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.7m at N to 4m at W; int. H 0.3m at E to 1m at SW; ext. H 0.9m at N to 1.6m at W) S-N-ESE and a scarp (H 0.95m) elsewhere with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m at S to 3.9m at N; D 0.1m to 0.7m at SW).
