Carrowndangan holds a hidden passage beneath its rath, lost to memory when men blocked the mouth in the early 1900s. The earth swallowed the entrance without mercy, erasing the path that once cut through solid ground. What remains is a vacant space inside ancient stone, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for the shape of what is missing.

Located in a rath (MA091-003----). According to local tradition, there is a Man-made underground passage in the rath, which was blocked up in the early 20th century.
