Located in a valley bottom, in wet, boggy ground with a stream c. 8m to W. One of several fulachtaí fia and burnt mounds which occur over a distance of 1.5km along the base of this flat-bottomed valley aligned NNE-SSW. Horseshoe-shaped mound (c.10m E-W; 9.9m N-S; H 0.7m). The trough area is marked by a slight hollow (Wth. 2m) at S. There is a burnt mound (SL019-213----) c. 25m to NNW, and a possible burnt mound (SL019-239----) c. 12m to W.
