What is recorded here

Indicated was a fifty-five-metre fairy fort overlooking the Sullane River valley before concrete and farm buildings erased its shape. The land still remembers the circle, even though people forgot it. Forgetting does not unlink the place from the living world. It stops the world from answering that place back.

In pasture, on S-facing slope, overlooking Sullane River valley. Depicted on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 55m) truncated on N side by farm buildings and to NE by farmyard; building in NW quadrant; possible Man-made underground passage (CO070-024002-) indicated on 1938 OS 6-inch map in NE quadrant.
