In undulating pasture, on a low rise. This possible hut site is not visible at ground level. It was indicated as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 8m) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. Small-scale quarrying has occurred in the vicinity. The area is named 'Carns Hill' on the 1914 OS 6-inch map.
