What is recorded here

Half a meter of wall, no more, yet tall enough to keep out the wind and the wolves. A person may have stood inside it, listening to the rain strike the stones, or a shepherd may have driven sheep through the southern gap at dusk. The wall does not say which. It only proves that someone shaped the rock instead of leaving it scattered.

Located in the NW quadrant of a cashel (MA082-045----). A horseshoe-shaped structure (4.5m E–W; 5.5-6m N–S) defined by a rough drystone wall (Wth 1.4m; H 0.2m), open to the S. When inspected in 1997 it was obscured by overgrowth and difficult to examine; it appeared to be rather crudely constructed.
