Cappahayden in County Kilkenny, holds a hidden ring fort. O Kelly recorded it in 1969 but never fixed its exact spot, leaving the enclosure buried under grass or forgotten entirely. The land may still conceal a circular wall, waiting for someone to walk the right field at the right time.
According to O’Kelly (1969, 185), in Cappaghayden, ‘There is a ring fort here’. The precise location of this enclosure within the townland is unknown.
