Parknarehoo is a ruined fairy fort in Galway scrubland, a 32.5m circle where a collapsed drystone wall still holds five small inner chambers. It is not a pretty ruin; it is a broken boundary, half buried under a later field wall, with an underground passage beside it. Whatever lived there stopped being obvious long ago, but the shape remained, holding its chambered silence in the brush.

In scrubland. Poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. 32.5m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall overlain by a field wall from N to E. McCaffrey (1952, 188-9, no. 75) noted five small ‘enclosures’ abutting the inner wall-face at N, SE and W; traces of these still survive. A Man-made underground passage (GA103-088002-) is associated.
