Ross Ó Maoldúin noted a rough subcircular stone wall on the north-facing slope above the Caher valley, perhaps a small cashel where people once kept fire, food or children clear of the winter dark. The stones still mark a chosen edge in the pasture, large enough to hold a family and small enough to hide inside the hill.

In rough pasture on the N-facing slope of a N-S ridge, on the E side of the Caher valley. This roughly subcircular enclosure (c. 15m WNW-ESE; c. 12m NE-SW), defined by a stone wall, is visible on current OSi digitalglobe aerial imagery. Possibly a cashel. Noted by Ross Ó Maoldúin.
