West Cork, 1842 survey. Thirty metres of forgotten dead beneath barley and bramble, its earthen guard broken at the south end where the living once walked in.

In tillage on ESE-facing slope. Marked 'Burial Ground' on OS 6-inch map (1842). Raised trapezoidal area (23m N-S; max. Wth 23m; min. Wth 8.9m) partially enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.8m) to S and W. Break in W bank at S end. No grave markers noted; heavily overgrown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
