In Kildermot church, set in concrete on a low plinth against the S wall of the chancel. Roughly triangular block of stone (0.35m; 0.43m; D 0.22m) with a circular depression (Diam. 21cm; D c. 8cm) cut in its upper surface. Probably dating to the early Christian or medieval period, the bullaun stone was likely used for ritual or symbolic purposes, such as coin or relic imprinting. In folklore, such stones are sometimes associated with holy sites or healing traditions.
