What is recorded here

Lismacormick is a well-preserved circular rath forty-nine metres across on a south-west facing Galway slope, its earthen bank and outer ditch still tracing an unbroken ring through grassland. It belongs to the old fairy-fort tradition, where the boundary between human and hidden life grows thin at dusk. The probable underground passage within the interior suggests the ring was built for more than stock or shelter, perhaps as a threshold into a world that does not appear on ordinary maps.

On a SW-facing slope in gently rolling grassland. Well-preserved circular rath (D 49m) defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is visible from S through N to SE and the fosse survives from W through N to SSE. There is a probable Man-made underground passage (GA029-031001-) within the interior.
