Boolies Little holds slab-lined burials beside a man-made underground passage. Some deaths predate the passage itself while others continue into the eighteenth century. The place is a long domestic ledger, recording that people kept returning to the same ground long after its first shape was forgotten.

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Numerous slab-lined burials found in association with Man-made underground passage (ME033-002----) uncovered in excavation by P. D. Sweetman.
