What is recorded here

Two graveslabs and a sarcophagus are at the SE angle of the nave of Bannow church (WX045-045001-). One of the graveslabs (Wth 0.46-0.75m; L 2.04m; T 0.1m) has an incised cross with trefoil terminals. Christian graveslab, early medieval period (7th–10th century). It is significant as an example of early Irish high cross design and reflects the presence of Christian burial practices in the Bannow area during the early medieval era.
