What is recorded here

Five large stones stood in a circle at Balregan before the earth swallowed them. Wright sketched the ring in 1758, capturing a shape that no longer exists. The grass may still hold the ghost of that geometry, waiting for someone to kick aside the turf and remember the boundary markers of a forgotten field.
