Situated on a gentle W and NW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 27.5m E-W; 25.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 3m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.6m) with an outer fosse (at N: Wth 0f base 3.9m; D 1.3m) and external bank (at N: Wth 2.6m; ext. H 1.2m). The external bank is incorporated into a field bank SSE-NW. The entrance (Wth 1.5m) is downslope through the inner bank only at WSW. Both banks are overgrown with scrub.
