That is a contradiction. The facts contain no claim about a hidden chamber. They describe a rectangular sandstone font with a circular bowl and central drain-hole inside the medieval church of Ballytobin. A font holds water for baptism; it does not conceal a chamber. If you want the story told, it is a small stone basin set into a church dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, where water was poured over infants and drained away through its central hole.

Within the medieval church (KK026-020001-) of Ballytobin which, according to Carrigan (1905, vol. 4, 44), was dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin. The church is located on an artificially raised area c. 50 SSE of Ballytobin house. A rectangular sandstone font with a circular bowl and central drain-hole.
