Half a kilometre from the main road, a low hill drops its south face into a wide ditch and a raised circle of earth. The causeway is broad enough for a cart, the bank high enough to keep rain off the middle, and the whole thing sits in open upland where a family could watch the valley and still hide when danger came. People may have lived there, bred animals there, or abandoned it when trade moved elsewhere. The earth remembers shape even when the names have fallen away.

Located on S facing slope of a low hill in an upland area. Raised circular platform area (diam 35m N-S; ext. H 1m) defined by a scarp and wide fosse (Wth 2m; ext. D 1m) with causeway entrance (Wth 3.5m) at S. No evidence of an enclosing external bank.
