Shanbally fort and a levelled earthwork flank Dallán, a rectangular standing stone on a Cork ridge. The stone stands 1.25m tall with a 0.45m by 0.75m base, aligned NE-SW in tillage. It appeared on the 1937 map but evaded the 1842 and 1905 maps, suggesting human memory or local knowledge shaped when the stone became visible.
