Childrens Burial Ground occupies the south interior of a cashel in County Roscommon, marked by flat boulders set less than a metre apart on a shallow slope. The stones are small enough to belong to babies or young children, yet no name, date or family survives to identify them. Quarrying has damaged the northern and eastern edge, erasing part of the line where the living once stopped walking. What remains is a narrow rectangle of grass and stone, holding the kind of loss that adults still struggle to speak about plainly.

On a slight SW-facing slope in a low-lying landscape. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims 12m N-S; 5m E-W) occupied by boulder-like grave-markers (dims c. 0.8m x c. 0.2m; H c. 0.4m) placed 0.8-1.2m apart and occupying the S interior of cashel (RO053-001001-).
