Circular enclosure visible on aerial photograph (GSIAP R1/20-1). On NW facing slope at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains with excellent views in all directions. No remains visible at ground level.

A circular early-medieval ringfort, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries, situated on a strategic hillside location. Local folklore often associates such sites with fairy dwellings, though no specific traditions are recorded for this example.
