One of ten fulachta fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 72-3) in Ballybahallagh townland 'one in M. Lynch's; two in E. O'Doherty's, levelled; two in Mrs Mary Hannon's; one in Mrs Margaret Hannon's; one in P. Vaughan's; one in J. Field's; one in J. Hudder's; one in C. Daly's. Exact location not known. Three fulachta fiadh have been located in the townland (10237; 10238; 10239).
