Crannoge is a crannog in County Clare, Ireland. The water may have hidden its wooden edges for centuries, yet the name still points to a small built island where human hands shaped the marsh. It remains a quiet invitation to imagine life lived above the reeds, bounded by tide and distance from ordinary roads.
