Detached three-bay two-storey house over basement. Two-bay single-storey addition to south-east gable and extension to rear. Hipped roof. Rendered walls. Square-headed tripartite timber sliding sash windows. Recessed round-headed entrance doorway. Outbuildings to house.
This middle-sized house is particularly notable for having reputedly been built by Viscount Kingsborough (later Earl of Kingston) for Arthur Young, the famous agriculturalist and writer.
