What is recorded here

One of five houses (see CO064-157----, CO064-158----, CO064-159----, CO064-160----) uncovered by archaeological excavation, which formed a small post-medieval settlement built on the site of a medieval moated site (CO064-156001-). This house was located within the moated site, near its SW corner. The house was identified by the presence of a rectangular hearth (3.5m N-S; 1.6m E-W) but it was impossible to conclusively establish the location of its walls.
