One of five Early Christian cross-slabs (KD018-001003- to KD018-001007- ) located in a graveyard (KD018-001002-) which also contains a church site (KD018-001001-). A small, well preserved, earthfast slab of reddish/brown conglomerate stone with many schist inclusions comprises a rectangular shaft with a rounded head, the E face of which bears a Greek cross formed by chiselling out the quadrants between the cross arms (total dims. Early Christian period, likely 7th to 9th century. The cross-slab may have served as a grave marker or commemorative monument, reflecting Christian symbolism and possibly local saints or notable figures.
