Fulacht fia in Ballinkina

Situated on low-lying ground just E of a S-N stream. A kidney-shaped, scrub-covered mound of burnt and broken stone (dims. 11m N-S; 10.6m E-W; H 0.95m) is open to the E. It is situated c. 50m S of a fulacht fiadh (WA018-017002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
